Summary

Jerome Robbins, speaking off-camera, directs a stage rehearsal of West Side story suite. This tape contains a run-through of the piece from the opening through America, with frequent interruptions and repetitions. Robbins gives corrections of the lighting, music, and staging. Nancy Ticotin, who performed the role of Anita, is absent from the rehearsal.
