Summary
Segment aired WABC-TV, Channel 7. Coverage of the controvery surrounding an exhibition of photographs by Robert Mapplethorpe at the the Contemporary Arts Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mapplethorpe's work features homoerotic imagery and child nudity and this has resulted in charges of criminal obscenity against the museum. Includes interviews with representatives of both sides of the issue, including theatrical producer Joseph Papp, who discusses his views in relation to freedom of expression.
