Summary
Inside/out is a series of programs in which artists perform and discuss their choreography with audiences in an informal setting, usually outdoors. In the first part of this program, presented outdoors, Ann Carlson rehearses five visually impaired performers in a work in progress (later titled See, from the White series.) Carlson and the performers answer questions from the audience about the development and challenges of the piece. This segment lasts 57 min. The second segment, presented indoors, includes performances of three works in progress: This moment (another section of the White series), performed with Andy Kirshner, and two sections from the Animals series (Sarah and Visit woman move story cat cat cat) performed by Carlson with live animals.
