The four panelists each read selected writings: Nancy Stark Smith reads three editor's notes from the magazine Contact quarterly; Steve Paxton reads Susan Sontag's essay "Dancer and the dance"; Stephanie Woodard reads excerpts from her reviews, a poem, and a visualization; Simone Forti reads the complete text of her self-published poem Angel (1978).
