Summary

Inside/out is a series of outdoor programs in which artists perform and discuss their choreography with audiences in an informal setting. This tape contains two solo performances by Gayle Tufts which combine singing, monologues, audience participation, and some dance and performance art elements. Sharon Jane Smith accompanies Tufts on mandolin. Tufts answers questions from the audience about her work. Both programs begin with footage of the audience and an introduction by Liz Thompson, director of Jacob's Pillow.
