Among the evening's offerings are a re-creation of the Motown Revue; a tribute to female performers titled "Tall, tan, teasin'"; Gregory Hines' tribute to dancer Teddy Hale (beginning at ca. 87 min. into cassette 1); a tribute to the great tap dancers of the past and present (beginning at ca. 112 min. into cassette 1); and a celebration of the music of Jackie Wilson, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, and Marvin Gaye. The first number by The Commodores, which is cut off at the end of cassette 1, is re-recorded in its entirety at the beginning of cassette 2.
