Al Hirschfeld (1903-2003) was a caricaturist who specialized in prominent personalities from the entertainment world. Includes interviews with Hirschfeld who discusses his working methods, and with producer/director Joseph Papp and actors Colleen Dewhurst, Jason Robards and Carol Channing who discuss their experiences being caricatured by Hirschfeld. Includes discussion on Hirschfeld's relationship with influential New York Times theater critic Brooks Atkinson and archival footage of Hirschfeld and Atkinson.
