- Cassette 6, side A (ca. 51 min.). The recording includes Frederic Franklin's comments on photographs and drawings of dancers, costumes, and sets shown to him at the interview. Franklin speaks about the costumes and sets for George Balanchine's ballet Danses concertantes; the designer, Genia [Eugene] Berman; Michel Fokine's ballet Don Juan, including comments on photographs of dancers and the set, and on the score of the ballet; speaks briefly about Anatole's Oboukoff's Don Quixote pas de deux; tells an anecdote about Alexandra Danilova and Enrico Cecchetti; Fokine's ballet Les elfes, including the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo production, choreographic details, and performance anecdotes; Leon Danielian's ballet España; Fokine's ballet L'épreuve d'amour, including the story and the cast; Bronislava Nijinska's ballet Étude, including the costumes, the music, and performance anecdotes.
