Summary
Liz Lerman and Don Zuckerman work with senior citizens performing in Lerman's piece Still crossing for the Inside/out series at Jacob's Pillow. The session begins with the seniors warming up with stretches and pantomime exercises. The seniors work on developing introductions for themselves, combining speech with gesture, which they will perform in the Inside/out program. Sections from Still crossing are rehearsed by the seniors and by Don Zuckerman and other members of Lerman's company. Lerman discusses how the piece adresses the immigration experience.
