- Biography
The Epiphany Branch originated as part of the New York Archdiocese's Cathedral Library Association in 1887. It was merged with The New York Public Library in 1904. The branch's current building, located at 228 East 23rd Street, opened in 1907 and was built with funds donated by Andrew Carnegie.
