Summary
  1. Telecast of a film originally released in 1972, with additional introduction, interviews, and afterword. The film is interrupted after ca. 58 min. for the first added interview, with choreographer Glen Tetley, who also appears in the film. The second added interview (at the end of the film) is with Christine Dakin of the Martha Graham Dance Company, who performed with Nureyev when he appeared as a guest artist in Graham's Appalachian spring. The film is a profile of Rudolf Nureyev, who is seen in class, rehearsal, and performance. In brief interview footage, he talks about his nomadic existence and his first meeting with ballerina Margot Fonteyn.
