- Summary
- This is a synthetic collection consisting of manuscripts, typescripts, and correspondence. The manuscripts and typescripts consist of poems, essays, plays, and lists of works by the author, as well as translations of Arthur Rimbaud in Symons's hand, and a reader's report on Symons by Edward Garnett. The correspondence consists of letters by the author, dating from [1890] to 1933, to Mackenzie Bell, Lady Isabella Augusta Persse Gregory, Elkin Mathews, Clement King Shorter, Algernon Charles Swinburne, and others, as well as letters relating to the author, dating from [1908] to 1924, between various correspondents including Rhoda Symons, William Butler Yeats, the literary agency J. B. Pinker and Son, and others.
