Lecture on AXIS Dance Company, a California-based performing group founded in 1987, which artistic director Judith Smith describes as a "physically integrated" company composed of dancers with and without disabilities. The lecture is interspersed with videos of the company's repertory, including Joanna Haigood's Descending cords, Sonya Delwaide's Sans instruments, Stephen Petronio's Secret ponies, Alisa Rasera and Megan Schirle's Up syncline, Bill T. Jones's Fantasy in C major, and other works, including a solo performed by Bill Shannon. Audience members ask questions throughout the presentation.
