Summary
[Contains background noise from the rehearsal; Robbins' voice is difficult to discern.] In a recording made during a rehearsal of the musical, Fiddler on the roof (1964) Robbins directs the rehearsal as well as makes notes to himself concerning various aspects of the production, including its direction, staging, acting, singing, costumes, and props. The recording of Robbins' voice repeatedly changes from whispering to electronic amplification as he variously comments to himself and directs the personnel onstage. [Content ends ca. 8 min.]
