Segment one: CBS news nightwatch, aired Channel 2, June 30, 1987, 2:00 a.m. Charlie Rose interviews actor Colleen Dewhurst about her career and her thoughts on the craft of acting. Dewhurst also discusses the influence on her career by her mother; producer Joseph Papp; and her former husband, the actor George C. Scott. She also discusses her relationship with her children, Campbell and Alexander Scott. Poor image quality. The first part of this interview appears on NCOX 5221.
Segment two: Mundo Latino: Teatro Hispano en Nueva York, aired Channel 41, July 2 and July 3, 1987, 7:00 a.m. Report on Hispanic theater in New York. Interviews with Hispanic theatrical notables, including actor Miriam Colon and Oscar Ciccone, co-director of Festival Latino. Performance footage from numerous Spanish-language productions. In Spanish.
Segment three: Tiempo, aired WABC-TV, Channel 7, July 12, 1987, 8:30 a.m. Host Anna Carbonell interviews Cecilia Vega, co-director of Festival Latino and Roberta Singer, music director of City lore. Vega discusses the eleventh season of Festival Latino, and Singer discusses the Musica tradicional program.
Segment four: Ten o'clock news, aired FOX, WNYW, Channel 5, July 28, 1987, 10:00 p.m. Cora-Ann Mihalik reports on the 25th anniversary of free Shakespeare in Central Park and the George T. Delacorte Theater. Footage from the celebration at the restaurant Tavern on the Green.
Segment five: Channel two news, aired July 31, 1987, 5:00 p.m. Jill Rapport reports on the performance of actor James Goodwin in Two gentlemen of Verona at the Delacorte Theater. Excerpts from interview with Goodwin. Brief rehearsal and performance footage of Goodwin (Valentine) and John Pankow (Speed).
