Summary
Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Bart Cook, directs a rehearsal of Gershwin concerto. For the first thirty minutes of the tape, the second movement of Gershwin concerto is rehearsed by female corps only. On the remainder of the tape, the principals rehearse excerpts from the first movement. Alternate cast members, including Kipling Houston and Judith Fugate, rehearse at the back of the studio. Robbins gives corrections, discusses and demonstrates choreography.
