Summary
Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Jean-Pierre Frohlich, directs a rehearsal of Mother Goose. All sections of the ballet performed by the Princess and the Good Fairy are rehearsed. The sections in which the princess jumps rope, and in which she pricks her finger on the spindle, are rehearsed with many repetitions. The ending of the ballet is rehearsed, with Frohlich dancing the part of the Prince. Robbins discusses and demonstrates choreography.
