Other former owners include George H. Doran, Gilbert Miller, Richmond Temple, Dorothy Cheston Bennett, Reginald Pound, and Sir Newman Flower. A number of letters were a gift of Paul M. Herzog, Jr. in memory of John D. Gordan.
