- Biography
- The Peninsula Circuit Stock Company, co-managed by Burton Mallory and Frank E. Craig, was a theatrical company formed during the summer of 1926 in order to tour the Eastern Shore states of Delaware, Maryland and Virginia. Burton Mallory was born in 1883, and worked as an actor for many years, appearing in twelve Broadway productions. Mallory's credits include the premiere of George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart's ONCE IN A LIFETIME (1930), the 1950 staging of Shakespeare's AS YOU LIKE IT which starred Katharine Hepburn, and the 1950-51 revival of TWENTIETH CENTURY featuring Gloria Swanson and Jose Ferrer. Burton Mallory died in 1962.
