- Summary
- Morton Gould is interviewed, probably by Joel Gold, after a rehearsal of excerpts from Variations on I'm old fashioned. He talks about working with Robbins, and discusses his feelings about the project. Robbins enters the studio and joins the interview. They discuss the frustrations of collaboration; the origin of the project; the challenge of keeping the ballet centered around the the original Astaire-Hayworth dance from the motion picture You were never lovelier. For the first part of this interview, see *MGZIA 4-6193. For the rehearsal that precedes this conversation, see *MGZIA 4-6103, *MGZIA 4-6138, and *MGZIA 4-6137.
