- Summary
- Members of the American Theatre Laboratory perform an improvisational dance exercise to music consisting of the Beatles albums Sgt. Pepper and Magical mystery tour played simultaneously, with additional live percussion. Afterwards they perform another exercise with props, set to Japanese-style flute and percussion music. The actors appear to be reading from pieces of paper, but the voices are difficult to hear. Jerome Robbins directs the session.

- American Theatre Laboratory was created in 1966 by Jerome Robbins with a $300,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The experimental theater workshop rehearsed several projects and conducted many exercises, but did not produce any shows. American Theatre Laboratory disbanded in 1968.
