Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Victor Castelli, directs rehearsals of a pas de deux set to Chopin's Waltz, op. 42, nicknamed the Giggle dance, from Dances at a gathering. Alternate cast members, including Ethan Stiefel and Judith Fugate, rehearse at the back of the studio. Robbins gives corrections, discusses and demonstrates choreography.
