Summary
  1. The Broadway version of the musical Chess is examined. Included are performance excerpts from the show, brief interviews with cast members Judy Kuhn, Philip Casnoff, David Carroll, and Marcia Mitzman, and a review of the show delivered by host David Anthony.
  2. A report on a recent benefit performance for Manhattan Theatre Club includes performance clips featuring Nell Carter, Linda Hart, Gregg Burge, Carol Channing, James Rado and Gerome Ragni. There are brief interviews with producer Lynne Meadow and performer Carol Channing.
  3. The New York Shakespeare Festival's ongoing Shakespeare Marathon is discussed, with the emphasis on the current production of Romeo and Juliet at the Public Theater's Delacorte Playhouse in Central Park.
