Summary
Jerome Robbins, assisted by ballet master Jean-Pierre Frohlich, directs a rehearsal of Interplay. The complete ballet (with many interruptions and repetitions) is rehearsed in the first 54 min. of the tape; in the final 57 min., Robbins works with three different casts (Robert La Fosse and Melinda Roy, Philip Neal and Lauren Hauser, Peter Boal and Roma Sosenko) on the pas de deux from Byplay, the third movement of the ballet.
