- Ballet based on the poem of the same title by Lord Byron. Originally presented by the Ballet de l'Opéra de Paris in 1979, Manfred was revised by Nureyev for the Ballett des Opernhauses, Zürich, in 1981, and this recording of the Opéra's 1986 revival may incorporate some of the changes made then.
