- Summary
- Entrant in the Dance on Camera Festival 2002. Joe Goode and Mary Jane Eisenberg, respectively the artistic director and managing director of the Joe Goode Performance Group, discuss the loss of the company's studio in the Mission District of San Francisco, which they view as symptomatic of the "cultural crisis" facing both artists and neighborhoods as urban areas become increasingly gentrified and homogenized. The program includes rehearsal and performance footage of the dance company, juxtaposed with views of Mission District street life that convey the Latino flavor of the neighborhood.
