- Description
- 1 videocassette (55 min.) : sd., col. PAL; 1/2 in. (VHS)
- Summary
- Revised version of a ballet originally presented by the Ballet de l'Opéra de Paris in 1979. This production is danced before a cyclorama rather than the scenery designed for the Opéra by Radu Boruzescu, and the costumes have been newly designed by Nicholas Georgiadis. Nureyev's choreography has also been revised. In this recording, Nureyev wears legwarmers over his tights. There are gaps in the action at the points where the videographer changed cassettes, and the ending of the ballet was not recorded.
