Profile of Danish danseur noble Erik Bruhn, presented through film clips and still photographs of the dancer in class, rehearsal, performance and private life, accompanied by his own reflections on dancing, performing, love and life. The program also includes brief excerpts from interviews with Rudolf Nureyev, footage of Nureyev dancing in the studio and outdoors, and a non-dancing appearance by Margot Fonteyn.
