Summary

The Jack Curtis contracts date from autumn 1937, and consist of sixteen copies of the same 'standard minimum' contract for actors. There are thirteen contracts for the play BORN IN A TRUNK, and three contracts for Aurania Rouverol's play PLACES PLEASE, each signed by a different actor. There is also a brief contract offering BORN IN A TRUNK star Lillian Emerson a bonus contingent upon the play's box office performance.
