- "Numerous highly valuable and rare objets in rare antique Sevres, Dresden, and oriental china, of unsurpassed beauty, and exquisitely painted with landscapes, figures, &c. Splendid Sevres and bronze and buhl clocks, of the highest quality. Valuable achromatic telescope, by Pistor and Martins, Berlin. Various elegant objects of decorative furniture in handsome buhl library table, and commode, marquetrie tables, occasional tables, mounted with Sevres china. Beautifully sculptured busts of Clytie, Minerva, Juno, Ariadne, Diana, Apollo, Homer, and Demosthenes, in statuary marble, by Theed. Finely modelled bronzes, including an interesting bust of Napoleon le grand, Michael Angelo's Lorenzo, and Julius de Medici, &c. Pictures, by ancient and modern masters, including the celebrated portrait of Sir Thomas Mayerne by Rubens, &c. Also, the cellar of remarkably choice wine and spirits of the highest class, consisting of rare old port, sherry, amontillado, first growth claret, sillery, madeira, constantia, hock, &c., &c."
