Summary

In the first section of this tape, playwright Lanford Wilson performs a monologue from The glass menagerie by Tennessee Williams. He performs the monologue three times in what appears to be a rehearsal studio, apparently without an audience. This section lasts 7:07 minutes.
In the second section of the tape, Lanford Wilson is interviewed by actor Bruce McCarty. The focal point of the discussion is Wilson's collaboration with Tennessee Williams on the television movie The migrants (1974), for which Wilson wrote the script, based on Williams' original story. This interview lasts about 8:30 minutes.
In the third and final portion of the tape, in what might be an acting exercise, Lanford Wilson sits alone smoking a cigarette, silent for long stretches, occasionally speaking in a disjointed fashion. This lasts for about 11 minutes.
