In a brief interview Nureyev summarizes a typical day's activities, and describes his working method as a choreographer and his responsibilities as director of the Ballet de l'Opéra.

Also included are two interviews in French, the first with dancer Patrick Dupond, the second with an unidentified man; both of these interviews are conducted against the background of the rehearsal.

He describes what he has learned from his study of modern dance, his recent efforts to bring together classical and modern dancers, his reasons for reviving Raymonda for the Ballet de l'Opéra, the qualities of the Cour d'honneur as a performance space, the company's tours and his love of traveling.
