Biography
Gerald M. Berkowitz is an author and a retired professor of theater history at Northern Illinois University. His books include THE PLAYS OF DAVID GARRICK; THE PLAYS OF SIR JOHN VANBRUGH AND THE COMEDY OF THE LATE SEVENTEENTH CENTURY; AMERICAN DRAMA OF THE TWENTIETH CENTURY; DAVID GARRICK: A REFERENCE GUIDE; NEW BROADWAYS: THEATRE ACROSS AMERICA: 1950-1980 and its revised publication, NEW BROADWAYS: THEATRE ACROSS AMERICA: APPROACHING A NEW MILLENNIUM.
