- Actors Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson open this tribute to playwright Tennessee Williams with personal reminiscences of working with him, then read a number of his letters to producer Cheryl Crawford, and one to critic Walter Kerr. Mr. Wallach recites Mr. Williams' poem, Life story, and Ms. Jackson recites Gold tooth blues. The program concludes with readings from three of Mr. Williams' plays, Camino real, The rose tattoo, and Summer and smoke.
