  1. Opens with introductory remarks by series producer Todd Lincoln.
  2. Panel moderator Deborah Grace Winer, author of a biography of composer Dorothy Fields (1905-1974), launches the discussion with a look at the career of Ms. Fields, after which the panel of professional stage composers contribute comments on their own experiences, discuss the challenges which women composers and lyricists face whether working alone or in collaboration, and attempt to address the larger question of why the field of musical theater has traditionally been dominated by men. A question and answer session with the audience concludes the program.
