Summary
Costume designer Miles White discusses his career, ranging from Broadway musicals such as Oklahoma! and Carousel to Bye Bye Birdie, which brought him into collaboration with designers Norman Bel Geddes, John Murray Anderson and others, and with personalities such as Tallulah Bankhead and Lynn Fontanne. Mr. White also discusses the Theatre Guild, his work for Ringling Brothers' circus, his feelings about the Tony Awards nomination process, and the changes he has observed in the financial side of theater.
