- Summary
- Brenda Bufalino discusses her work teaching experimental performance,her early training and family, and composition in tap dance. She describes the difficulty of finding dancers for her jazz tap compositions, and the effects of race and gender on the evolution of tap. She remembers working with Morton Gould and Honi Coles, and the making of her documentary "Great feats of feet" about the Copasetics. She discusses training for tap dancers, and her view of the future of tap and her place in it.
