Summary
Elijah Muhammad, founder of the Nation of Islam, is interviewed from his home in Arizona. Muhammad's explanations of his religious, political, economic and social philosophies are interspersed with comments by author Louis E. Lomax and Adam Clayton Powell, and clips of Black Muslims "fishing" on the sidewalks of New York City. Muhammad also comments on the suspension of Malcolm X and the dissension among the Black Muslims.
