- Summary
- In this collection of musical shorts some of the greatest names in jazz are presented in some of their earliest filmed performances. Featuring Duke Ellington, Artie Shaw, Fats Waller, Cab Calloway, and Bing Crosby who bends the definition of jazz to croon three ballads. Perhaps the gem of this film however is Office Blues in which a pre-stardom, pre-Astaire Ginger Rogers cavorts in an Art Deco extravaganza.
