- Myers also gave the Library his collection of scrapbooks of clippings documenting the Detroit stage in the early 1930s (MWEZ 1752, 1772-3, 1779-80) as well as many Detroit theater programs, most now bound, (MWEZ 16,196-203 and 16,577) and programs in German from festivals in Germany and Austria, 1937-1938 (MWEZ 1907).

- Kurtz Myers was chief of the Music and Drama Department of the Detroit Public Library, 1954-1969. He began work there in 1936 and spent the summers of 1937 and 1939 working at the Theatre Collection of the New York Public Library.
