Summary
Perry Gingerich, a professional ballroom dancer and teacher, discusses different aspects of competitive ballroom dancing. He and his wife Diane, who are ranked among the top three in the American-style rhythm division, are seen performing in competition in brief video excerpts. Originally trained as a surgical assistant, Gingerich began dancing when he won a free lesson, and entered the field as a teacher of ballroom dancing. He now runs his own studio, Ballroom Unlimited, in Kansas City.
