- Biography
Playwright and magazine editor. N. R. Davidson was born in New Orleans. He received the B.A. from Dillard University and the M.F.A. from Stanford University. During the 1960s he was playwright-in-residence with the Dashiki Project Theater in New Orleans. He was one of the editors of The Black Collegium magazine. Davidson was associated with the Frank Silvera Writers Workshop in New York City.
