- Consists of 255 vintage prints and original transparencies of 33 Broadway productions taken by Philippe Halsman on assignment for LIFE magazine. Several images appeared on the cover. Most are black and white prints and contact sheets from plays, a few are color transparencies from films or plays. Many of the shows are musicals, some are in their pre-Broadway tryouts.
