Prefixed is Dr. Witherspoon's preface, an advertisement, and the list of books. One page of tables after Old Testament. Apocrypha printed in smaller type. Two leaves for family records inserted after Apocrypha. The plates consist of sheets each containing six small woodcuts after Murillo, Poussin, Holbein, West, Rubens, Guercino, S. Rosa, Velasquez, Raphael, and others.
Text apparently printed from the same plates as Wilbur's reference Bible of 1828.
Bound in mottled calf with gilt edges.
