Summary

Reproductive etchings after 18th century French drawings by Jean-Honoré Fragonard and Antoine Watteau intended as illustrations for L'Art au XVIIIe siècle. Subjects include nudes, a grandfather with grandchild, a couple frolicking, an allegory of spring, a dancing master and a mother and child. Two prints are bon à tirer proofs. Some prints present in more than one state. B15 was exhibited in the Salon of 1863.
