Forman.Pforz Copy: Full purple levant morocco, gilt lettering on spine; upper cover has gilt rule-border, a frame of tooled intertwining leaves at sides and top, stained green; a twisting snake, tooled and stained in browns, a greenish-white lily in its mouth, lies among green leaves across the bottom. A gilt star with extending rays in gilt and blind is tooled in above center with gilt lettering, "Adonais". Lower cover has printed on it in gilt capitals: The broken lily lies--the storm / is overpast./ ....... The soul of Adonais,/ like a star,/beacons from the abode where / the eternal are. /, contained in a gilt rule border. Edges and inner edges have gilt rules.
