Summary
Compilation of video excerpts of folk dances from various countries, recorded at various locations and dates. Preceded by an introduction in which British children are shown practicing folk dances in the classroom. The countries represented (in order of appearance) are England (including morris dances and dances from the Isle of Man), Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Spain (including dances from the Canary Islands and the Basque region), Portugal (including dances from Madeira), Albania, Turkey, Bulgaria, Greece, Rumania, Byelorus [Belarus], Moldavia [Moldova], Estonia, Armenia, and Georgia. An excerpt from a speech by actress Audrey Hepburn appears at the beginning of the video, which closes with more footage of Hepburn visiting children around the world.
