- Mr. Danielian discusses ballet technique; how the dancer molds the body in class; center work as a continuance of barre work; "feeling" turns; allowing the dancer's individuality to emerge; and the lack of communication between teachers. [4 min.]Ms. Erdman describes her studio on West 14th Street; studio and workshop performances; teaching children, teens and beginners' classes; New York University's dance program for dancers, actors, writers, and directors; working with actors on Finnegan's wake; dance and theater critics; the requirements for taking class at her school; and the New York University School of the Arts program and scholarship arrangements. [12 min.]Mr. Meyers talks about the New York Board of Trade Arts Advisory Council-sponsored workshop as a catalyst for sponsoring a Herbert Migdoll exhibit; the "Arts in your life" project for developing new audiences; information on attending performances at the Fashion Institute of Technology; future plans for supporting arts programs; and how arts organizations can apply for support.
