  • Mr. Sorell discusses the second edition of his book, The dance has many faces; his translation of Mary Wigman's Language of dance; the growth of sacred and ethnic dance movement in contemporary performance; the use of ethnic dance as propaganda; the changes in other dance forms since his book's first edition in 1951; subsidy for the arts; and the future of dance.
