Mr. Bull discusses his workshops on dance technique and improvisation at New York University; the procedures for auditioning students; devising improvisational structures for students; the role of student collaboration in improvisations; his work War games and its performance at New York University; and future plans for the New York Chamber Dance Group and New York University programs.
Ms. Mattlage discusses her interest in the relationship between the church and dance; her own dance background; working with Dancers of Faith; the repertory of her company; working with specially composed music; performing venues; changing attitudes on dance and the church; intergrating dance into church services; and future plans for her company.
